The artwork is a triptych, and can be read dramaturgically with a main point in the middle and with a beginning and an end.
A triptych is a three-part work of art that is attached together or presented next to each other, originally understood as an altarpiece with a larger central part and two side wings that can be closed over the central part.
I don't like roller coasters, but there are several of us in the same carriage painted in the primary colours.
The colors contrast with each other and emphasize that each painting can be understood separately with its sub-story, but when put together in a triptych form a larger, holistic story.
