About the exhibition
This exhibition stems from an experience many of us share: being faced with questions about whether we are “Sami enough.” Whether we count, when we do not speak the language fluently, when we have a different dialect, when we live in the city and not on the plateau, when our lives look different from the generations before us.
We are the new generation. We are the ones who carry Sami culture forward – in our own ways.
We still feel the power within us.
We are still here.
And our heart is Sami.
