Rotatrim is a high-quality 5-layer self-healing cutting mat. Varies in sizes from A4 to A0 and also the largest on the market, "Mega Mat" which measures 1 meter x 2 metres.

If you invest in a paper cutter, craft knife and/or a straight ruler, a cutting mat will be essential. A high-quality self-healing cutting mat will not only protect your work surface, but it will also extend the life of your knife by ensuring it stays sharper for longer.

What is a self-healing cutting mat?
A self-healing cutting mat is made from tiny pieces of material that are pressed together to create a solid cutting surface. When cutting in with a rotary cutter, blade or knife, the blade passes between the tiny pieces, separating them but not cutting into the surface as a whole.

The benefits of a self-healing cutting mat really lie within the name. No matter which blade you use or how many cuts you make, the mat will bond back together, leaving you with a smooth cutting surface.

Rotatrim self-healing cutting mats range in size from A4 to A0 and are a high-quality 5-ply double-sided mat that is pre-screened with both metric measurements including centimeters and millimeters and imperial measurements including inches and ¼ inches, picas and points. Angle lines of 30, 45 and 60 degrees are also shown. These self-healing cutting mats are also 3" in thickness. The largest cutting mat 'Mega Mat' is 1m x 2m and 5mm thick, it is without grid.

Areas of use
Our smaller self-healing cutting mats may be better suited to craft rooms, homes, offices and classrooms as they are small enough to move around and store (the A4 cutting mats also make great computer mouse pads!). The larger mats are perhaps better suited to industrial workplaces where space and storage are not a problem. Our "Mega Mats" make beautiful workbench or desk coverings where art, craft and cutting are everyday tasks.
