UV rays are known to degrade the colors of photo prints over time. In addition, scratches, fingerprints and scraping are all potential threats to your prints. It is therefore essential to protect your prints with UV spray and/or UV glass to achieve a long-lasting result.

This is what you do

1. Print the image

2. Wait at least a day / 24 hours before spraying (the moisture from the ink must come out of the paper)

3. Spray the first layer

4. Wait 15 minutes and turn the sheet 90 degrees

5. Spray a second time

Tips

When you spray the cotton paper or Japanese Awagami Unryu / Kozo paper with UV spray, you can do without glass or with cheaper glass, e.g. non-reflective glass instead of non-reflective UV glass.
