A stunning fine art photo paper with a natural white color that is attractive to artists of a high standard. The award-winning and highly acclaimed paper, Moenkopi Washi [moe-in-koe-pee] represents a unique partnership between Moab and the Awagami paper mill in Tokushima, Japan. Moenkopi is an environmentally friendly product mainly made from natural substances. Natural fibers from mulberry (from the name Kozo) and hemp are used with the traditional Japanese Washi technique, and then coated to be compatible with digital printers. For those of you who want a unique look on your print in exhibition quality.

.

Moenkopi is better than the original Awagami UNRYU 55

Legion Paper uses its own developed and patented coating on the Moenkopi Unryu and Kozo paper produced at the Awagami factory in Japan for Legion Paper. This means that the paper can withstand prints with relatively high color saturation and deep black levels.

.

Picture tip:

Pictures with simple composition, one main motif and lots of space.

.

Assembly tips:

A. Let the print "hang freely" in a frame box with non-reflective UV art glass above.

B. Mount the paper on a blind frame - similar to canvas.

C. Small eyelets are fastened around the paper with eyelet pliers, strung up with strings so that the Unryu paper floats in the frame box. White acid-free paper as a background in the box - this provides a natural backlight on the thin Unryu paper.

.

Protection:

Spray the print after one day with Artist Line Shield UV Spray - this provides extra protection against harmful UV light.

Or install non-reflective UV artificial glass.
