Stig Marlon Weston is a photographer and general manager at Cyan :studio. He has a fascination for how we sense and perceive reality before it is interpreted and explained in a subjective way. In Weston's eyes, photographs should recreate the truth, not simply depict a subjective interpretation. He aims to help the viewer see the world as he himself does, and he is more interested in understanding how he himself sees the world.
Weston has had a varied career with several selected solo exhibitions. Among these are "Oslo negativ 2022", "Empirical" during the Copenhagen Photo Festival in Copenhagen, Denmark, "Neighborhood" at Galleri Blaker Skanse/Kunstskansen in Viken, "Croisière au Cercle Polaire. Eté 1929" at Maison Losseau in Mons, Belgium, and "Holt" at Bærum Kunsthall in Fornebu, Oslo. He has also had exhibitions such as "Divinations" at Shoot Gallery in Oslo, "Aning" at Lørenskog Kunstforening in Akershus, and "Månelyst" at SAGA fotosenter in Inderøy.
