DAIDDA x The National Museum
In collaboration with the National Museum, DAIDDA gives you the opportunity to invest in your favorite motif as a poster in premium quality and as an art print in museum quality. Of course, part of the income goes to the National Museum.
Pressure
All prints are printed to order by us in our own print lab. The combination of ink, paper choice and technique ensures that original details and structures are reproduced. Our ink is pigment-based, archive-resistant, in line with relevant EU regulations and 100% vegan.
Environmentally friendly production
Our production generates very little waste, as we only produce to order to avoid large inventories and waste in production. We buy in from recognized suppliers for sustainable production.
Posters by DAIDDA
Posters by DAIDDA
Our Posters are not ordinary posters! We print using the same method as when we produce fine art prints. Posters are printed on mediaJET Litho White Matt , a photo paper rather than poster paper. CMYK printing is traditionally done for the mass production of posters, but causes the colors to be compressed and does not fit with the driver on the printer. This means that you lose the original structures, details and contrasts in the image file. The posters were designed by the National Museum and are adapted to standard frame dimensions. The motif is adapted with a 1.2 cm white border on the sides and a 3.4 cm white border at the bottom, with visible crediting and logo, according to the National Museum's own design.
Art print by DAIDDA
Art print by DAIDDA
Our Artprints are printed on 100% archive-resistant 300 gram cotton paper of first-class quality. The paper has a matte surface with a subtle natural structure that gives the motifs an exclusive finish. With an expected durability of up to 400 years, Artprints are made to last for generations. Artprints have a white border with crediting discreetly below the frame strip, for an authentic and exclusive reproduction of the original artwork.
Fine art photography
DAIDDA represents both established and up-and-coming photo artists from home and abroad. The photographs are produced to order in our own print lab, and the result is detailed, accurate prints on archive-resistant paper, signed and numbered by the artist.
Framing
We offer ready framing of your photos, carried out by professional framemakers in Oslo.
Finished frame
Order photos with ready-made frames, which include a simple frame strip, backing plate, staples and plexiglass.
Glued up
If you want pictures without glass, sticking them on is a good alternative. We mount images in all formats, and ensure an even result without air bubbles or dents. This gives you a closer impression of the subject and reduces glare. The image is sprayed with UV spray for protection against dirt and harmful rays. The frame strip is protruding, so that the image does not have a visible white border.
Art glass
We offer several types of glass:
- Float glass (ordinary glass)
- Anti-reflection with 70% UV blocking
For Artprints or art photographs, we recommend AntiReflex glass, also known as Artglass. This glass provides 70% UV protection, and protects the image from sunlight. Framed photos with Artglass are delivered as standard with a simple passepartout. For specially adapted frames, contact us at hei@daidda.no.
