Photo exhibition: Home by Torgrim Hermansen Halvari
📅 Vernissage: Thursday 21 August at 18.00
📍 Dáidda, Thorvald Meyers gate 19
About the exhibition
Home is more than a physical place – it is also a sense of belonging.
For photographer Torgrim Hermansen Halvari, the word "home" has had many meanings throughout his life.
Geographically, home has often been Finnmark, where he was born and raised.
Other times he has found a home in the Balkans or in different parts of the world, where life has given him something new.
Creatively and emotionally, the search for love, creativity and harmony has been a common thread.
At the age of 60, Halvari feels that he has finally found home – both in life and in art.
This exhibition shows fragments of the inner journey that has led him there.
