Since 2022, we at DÁIDDA have built one of Norway's leading print labs and galleries for artists, photographers and museums. But our story started long before that.
From family heritage to artistic precision
The name DÁIDDA is inspired by the Sami word for art, and represents our Sami roots and family background. With a heart for both tradition and innovation, we have continued the knowledge from the family business Profil Data , which has provided professional printing services to the art field for over 30 years.
Over generations, we have developed a deep understanding of what it takes to reproduce art with maximum precision and respect for the original. It is not just about technology, but also about color sense, choice of materials and respect for the artist's expression.
Exclusive collaboration with the National Museum
For us, it is a great recognition to be chosen as the exclusive supplier of posters and art prints to the National Museum . The collaboration now includes over 600 works available as print-on-demand , produced in our print lab in Oslo. In addition, we have had the pleasure of producing several reproductions of iconic works from the museum's collection.
During a presentation of our productions for the museum, we printed, among other things, Harald Sohlberg's legendary work Winter Night in Rondane on cotton paper. The reaction from the museum representatives was clear:
“We have never seen the colors in this subject so vivid and precise.”
This moment confirmed what we have always worked for: To deliver art prints where the colors are alive, the details are preserved, and the artistic expression is at the center.
Collaboration with Norway's leading artists and photographers
In addition to our collaboration with the National Museum, we work closely with some of the country's most renowned artists and photographers. Our print lab is tailor-made for the production of high-resolution art prints in museum quality, on carefully selected art papers from, among others, Moab, Canson, Hahnemühle and Awagami.
Our online platform enables artists to offer their works as exclusive print-on-demand products, without compromising on quality. All produced in our workshop in the heart of Grünerløkka.
