Bo has made films for a number of companies such as Hafslund, TINE, , Norkring/Telenor, Nordea, Oslo Philharmonic, Infratek, Energi Norge etc. He has filmed and co-directed a Gullrute-nominated TV documentary for TV 2, recorded for NRK's series about the Nile in South Sudan, filmed for the International Red Cross in Africa (shown on CNN etc.) and worked as a one-man video team with the ambulance services in the Middle East.
Drones and other technology
Bo has a license from the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority for professional drone flying in the highest class (RO3). His license allows for recordings few other drone pilots have the opportunity to perform legally. He has also put a lot of work into other techniques. Such as the use of timelapse equipment, stabilizers, super telephoto, fish-eye, special optics for interior/exterior and macro recording, cranes, rails, car assembly equipment, underwater equipment and 360 degree camera.
Exhibitions
Bo Mathisen has held several photo exhibitions, including 2 exhibitions at Rådhusplassen in Oslo. The last was a project supported by Fritt Ord in collaboration with Regnskogfondet. He is one of three Norwegians (in addition to Morten Krogvold and Knut Bry) who has had his own exhibition at Fotomässan in Gothenburg.
